Community - How is the Accounts Receivable KPI calculated?
On the top of each community page profile, there is a KPI (key performance indicator) for Accounts Receivable.
That tile gives the percentage of applied funds that have been collected in the community.
When you click the KPI, it will give you the dollar amount of the funds applied and received.
How is that percentage calculated?
Total Amount Received divided by Total Charges Applied
In the example, the calculation is:
$4543.03 ÷ $62251.53 = 7%
What is included in the Applied and Received amounts?
Applied Calculates the sum of amounts of the following types of transactions:
- Apply Charges
- Apply Late Fee
- Apply Interest
- Apply Prepaids
- Waive Charge
- Add Charge
- Apply NSF
- Beginning Balance.
Received Calculates the sum of amounts of the following types of transactions:
- Cash Receipts (Manual Cash Receipts and Lockbock)
- subtracts the sum of amounts of any Backout Payment transactions
