What can I see in the Lockbox Log?
The Lockbox Log will show the status of all lockbox deposits (most recent at the top) received from the bank. If the deposit was successful, a link to the AR Cash Receipt transaction will be available.
Most Common Status
- The request was completed successfully.
- The request was completed successfully, but there are unmatched Owner transactions.
- The request was completed successfully, but could not match the Lockbox ID for the transactions.

1. Click Portfolio then Banks. Select the bank using this feature.
2. Under Smart Banking Features, click the date next to Lockbox
It will then open the Lockbox Log.

I have some transactions with unmatched owners or an issue with the lockbox ID, what do I do?
Highlighted below are the 2 possible errors when reviewing the log.
- The request was completed successfully, but there are unmatched Owner transactions.
Download the Lockbox Error File in the Bank Attachment Gallery and verify the customer account number.
- The request was completed successfully, but could not match the Lockbox ID for the transactions.
Download the Lockbox Error File in the Bank Attachment Gallery and verify the Lockbox ID in your Bank account matches what your bank gave you.
How do I get to the Lockbox Error File?
Each line with an error will have the name of the lockbox error file in the Bank Profile Page Attachment Gallery.
Example:
1. Copy the file name listed in the error.
2. Go to the Bank Profile Page.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and locate the Attachment Gallery. Click View All
4. To easily find the lockbox file, switch to list view.
5. Click Ctrl+F and paste the lockbox file name previously copied.
In list view, the full file name is visible. This will be useful if there are a lot of files in your attachment gallery.
6. Click the + sign to select the file. Once selected, it will turn to a green checkmark.
7. Once selected, switch back to the Card View
8. Click the icon to open the file.
9. This will open up in another tab the actual transactions from the bank.
The lockbox follows the Default Lockbox Format.
10. Open a text editor like NotePad. Highlight all of the records listed in the browser then with your mouse hold down the right mouse button and choose copy or CTRL+C.
11. Place your mouse in the body of your text editor and hold down the right mouse button and choose Paste
12. You will need to correct the error and save the file to a location on your computer.
How do I upload the corrected file?
1. Click Accounts Receivable then Cash Receipts
2. Click Cash Receipts - Lockbox
3. Select the File Format
4. Enter the Post Date
5. Click Select Files and upload the lockbox file.
If the upload was successful, the following message will pop up.
7. On the Cash Receipts page, click Outstanding Batches.
